PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for safely securing and pulling up on a ship a person who needs rescue and is in an unconscious state and drifting on a sea surface where one cannot reach from a ship.SOLUTION: A floating expansion type rescue device comprises: a floating body 10; a carbonic acid gas cylinder for filling gas in the floating body 10 for expanding the floating body 10; a case 2 for storing the floating body 10, net, and carbonic acid gas cylinder; a case cover 3 for closing a top part of the case 2; a suspending rope for supporting the case cover 3 and the case 2; and a suspending rope cutting device 8 disposed on a bottom of the case 2 for cutting the suspending rope. The floating body 10 comprises: an annular outer ring part 11 serving as a structural material which is inflated when being filled with carbonic acid gas; a central reinforcement part 12 positioned on a center of the outer ring part 11; a girder shape expansion part 13 for connecting the respective parts; and a net 1 stretched on the respective parts, for serving as a drainer. The floating body is made float from sea to a person who needs rescue, and the person who needs rescue is scooped from downward by the net stretched on the floating body on the sea surface, and by buoyance of the floating body, the person who needs rescue is maintained, secured, and rescued on the sea surface. |
