PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide colored boron nitride particle powder capable of obtaining a composition whose uniform dispersion in the composition is made possible and color unevenness (color tone ununiformity) is reduced by suppressing the desorption of iron-based oxide from the particle surfaces.SOLUTION: Provided is colored boron nitride particle powder in which iron-based oxide is stuck to the particle surfaces, in which, though the particle size is high in such a manner that the average particle diameter (D) is 1 to 18 μm, since its BET specific surface area value is 6 m/g or higher and a peak showing iron based oxide being a single substance in X ray diffraction spectrum, the colored boron nitride particle powder in which the desorption of the iron-based oxide from the surfaces of the particles is reduced and uniform dispersion in the composition is possible can be obtained. |
