PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide decorative plywood having a beautiful decorative surface and a woody board suitable for manufacture of decorative plywood.SOLUTION: In a woody board, a composite base plate 10 is formed by press-joining a low-density fiber mat with the front surface or the front and back surfaces of a woody plate material 11, e.g. plywood, an oriented strand board or laminate lumber, to form a fiber layer 120 of a high density formed by compression of the fiber mat and laminated on the front surface side. A decorative plywood is manufactured through decoration processing of thermally pressure-bonding a sliced veneer plate to the surface, of the front and back surfaces, of a composite base plate 10 on the side laminated with the fiber layer 120 as a decorative plate. |
