The present invention relates to a wireless access point and a control method thereof, to a communications terminal in communications with the wireless access point and a control method thereof, and to a recording medium for recording a program for executing the control methods. The method for controlling the communications terminal according to the present invention comprises the following steps: communicating with a plurality of wireless access points to individually establish communications sessions therefor; transmitting a communications signal including sleep mode entry information to a first access point, and converting a main communications object into a second wireless access point among the wireless access points when a predetermined first time has passed while communicating with the first wireless access point, or a problem has occurred with communications quality of the first wireless access point, after setting the first wireless access point as the main communications object among the wireless access points; and transmitting a communications signal including sleep mode cancelling information to the second wireless access point, and receiving all the pre-buffered communications data from the second wireless access point.
