PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch and a terminal control method by the switch capable of making a terminal more surely execute specific processing.SOLUTION: According to a switch (SGSN60/MME20) included in a communication system 1 and a terminal control method by the switch, information about an information element (Cause #27) capable of executing processing similar to processing of a first information element is stored in a response Cause database 23 in association with the first information element (Cause #66). Then, on the basis of the information, an information element to be included in a signal transmitted from the SGSN60/MME20 to a terminal 10 is selected and transmitted. Thus, since a plurality of information elements which can be used for making specific processing be executed are stored in the SGSN60/MME20, even when the terminal 10 cannot cope with the first information element, another information element associated with the first information element can be transmitted, and possibility of executing the processing can be enhanced. |
