PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate protective film having low moisture vapor permeability, high surface hardness, and superior productivity, and to provide a method for manufacturing a polarizing plate protective film, a polarizing plate using the polarizing plate protective film, and a liquid crystal display device using the polarizing plate and having excellent image qualities after exposed to a high temperature and high humidity environment for a while.SOLUTION: The polarizing plate protective film comprises a substrate film and a layer formed by curing the following composition. The curable composition comprises, with respect to the whole solid content of the curing composition set to 100 mass%, 50-90 mass% of (A) a compound having three or more ethylenically unsaturated double bonds in the molecule, and 10-40 mass% of (B) a rosin compound having an acid value of 150 to 400 mgKOH/g. |
