PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector in which waterproofness can be ensured while down-sizing in the radial direction.SOLUTION: A waterproof connector includes a housing 40 forming an insertion space 40a into which a plug is inserted in the direction from the front side toward the rear side, a terminal member 30 interconnecting the inside and outside of the housing 40, and a cap member 10 attached to the front side of the housing 40, and having an opening 1a. A sealing member housing section 10b for attaching a sealing member 50 around the opening 1a is provided on the front side of the cap member 10, and a first abutting portion 10a to be joined to the housing 40 by laser welding is provided on the rear side of the cap member 10. The sealing member pressure contact surface 11a of the sealing member housing section 10b is provided on the front side of the first abutting portion 10a, so as to be a laser transmission surface. |
