ECCENTRIC OSCILLATION TYPE SPEED REDUCER AND PROCESS OF MANUFACTURE FOR ITS PIN MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eccentric oscillation type speed reducer in which a pin member can be more accurately pressed and fitted into a press-in hole of a flange body.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an eccentric oscillation type speed reducer G1 in which an external tooth gear 20 is internally contacted with and engaged with an internal tooth gear 22 while the external tooth gear 20 is being oscillated. There are provided a through-pass hole 44 formed at a position offset from an axial center of the external tooth gear, an internal pin (pin member) 46 passing through the through-pass hole 44 and a flange body 52 into which the internal pin is press fitted. The internal pin comprises a press-in part 46A press-fitted into a press-in hole 52A of the flange body and a chamfer part 46B formed at the extremity end of the press-in part. A part of the chamfer part also has interferences (δ1, δ2) in respect to the press-in hole of the flange body and a roughness of the chamfer part is smaller than that of the press-in hole.
