PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition and a tape.SOLUTION: The tape provided by the present invention is a halogen-free tape which can maintain a clear color even when brought into contact with an electrolyte of a lithium-ion battery or the like in a process of manufacturing an electrochemical device or the like such as a lithium-ion battery. The tape is formed using the adhesive composition of the present invention. The adhesive composition contains an adhesive component and a pigment. The pigment is an inorganic pigment. The respective contents of chlorine and bromine in the adhesive composition are less than 900 ppm, and the total content of chlorine and bromine is less than 1,500 ppm.
