PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method for a compressor, capable of suppressing the distortion of the axial end face of a mounting member while increasing the strength of joint between a closed container and the mounting member, when welding the mounting member of a compression mechanism part to the closed container.SOLUTION: The welding method for the compressor includes the steps of: arranging a compression mechanism part (2) in a closed container (1); welding a mounting member (50) of the compression mechanism part (2) to the closed container (1) at its plurality of first welded parts (81) at the same time; and welding the mounting member (50) of the compression mechanism part (2) to the closed container (1) at its plurality of second welded parts (82) at the same time. The mounting member (50) has a plurality of first weld inside areas (151) located radially inside of the plurality of first welded parts (81), and a plurality of second weld inside areas (152) located radially inside of the plurality of second welded parts (82), respectively. The plurality of first weld inside areas (151) each have a solid structure, and the plurality of second weld inside areas (152) each have a hollow structure. |
