PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base-isolation construction and a base-isolation device that isolate the base of a structure in horizontal biaxial directions against a shake acting on the structure with simple constitution.SOLUTION: A base-isolation construction includes: a base-isolation column 8 which is arranged between a horizontal flange 15a and a horizontal flange 15b to tilt, and has flanges 8b formed at both end parts of a main body 8a; a plurality of tilt fulcrum forming members 13, 13 and 14, 14 which are arranged to surround the flanges 8b of the base-isolation column 8, and form fulcra when the base-isolation column 8 begins to tilt; and a pair of rod members 11, 11 which are held by the tilt fulcrum forming members 14, 14 to hold the main body of the base-isolation column 8 therebetween. The base-isolation column 8 absorbs a relative movement between the horizontal flange 15a and horizontal flange 15b as the flanges 8b tilt on the tilt fulcrum forming members 13, 14 as fulcra, and the rod member 11 abuts on the flanges 8b to limit a tilt angle of the base-isolation column 8. |
