PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting aromatic polyester composition which is excellent in molding such as transfer molding without increasing viscosity due to the progress of the crosslinking reaction during heating and kneading.SOLUTION: There is provided a thermosetting aromatic polyester composition which comprises the following aromatic polyester (A) and the following crosslinking compound (B), where the aromatic polyester (A) has a softening point lower by 30°C or more than that of the crosslinking compound. The aromatic polyester (A): an aromatic polyester having at least one group or structure selected from the group consisting of a hydroxyl group, an acyloxy group, an aromatic cyclic group and a conjugated diene structure at the molecular chain terminal, the crosslinking compound (B): a crosslinking compound having a group or a structure of the aromatic polyester (A) which is a functional group reactive with a hydroxyl group, an acyloxy group, an aromatic cyclic group and a conjugated diene structure and a thermally polymerizable functional group in the molecule. |
