PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a driver to easily confirm the situation behind a vehicle at night.SOLUTION: A luminance of a region where a headlight of a following vehicle is imaged, in a rear image is detected and in the case where the luminance exceeds a predetermined threshold, correction is performed to decrease the luminance in the region where the headlight is imaged. At such a time, in a first region including a central portion of the headlight, a degree of decreasing the luminance is suppressed more than a second region that is provided while surrounding the first region. Thus, even if the headlight of the following vehicle dazzling in the rear image, the luminance is decreased while excluding the central portion of the headlight, such that the driver to confirm the rear image is prevented from feeling the headlight of the following vehicle dazzling. The central portion of the headlight is imaged bright, thereby easily grasping a position of the following vehicle from a position of the headlight. |
