The present invention relates to an LED plane lighting apparatus capable of non-perforated installation, which comprises: a LED module, in which multiple LED chips are arranged on a bar-type printed circuit board (PCB); a bar-type switched-mode power supply (SMPS) device in which an AC power input unit, an AD/DC converter and a light-emitting control circuit are sequentially arranged in a series on the PCB; a frame made from an extruded molded material of a metal material or a composite resin having good thermal conductivity and composed of a first accommodation part, in which an opening is formed inside and the LED module is erected and assembled to let light emitted in a lateral direction through the opening, and a second accommodation part, which is separated from the first accommodation part by a barrier to accommodate the bar-type SMPS; a diffusion plate, some of whose outer end part is inserted and fixed to the opening to emit the light of the LED module on plane; a reflection plate closely attached to the opposite surface of the diffusion plate; and a corner connecting member having installation holes through which the frame and a second frame are connected with a coupling screw to be fixed to a wall or a ceiling. According to the present invention, a conventionally rectangular parallelepiped- shaped SMPS device is configured in a form of a bar-type PCB and mounted on a SMPS accommodation part arranged inside the metal or composite resin-extruded frame, and a straight-type LED module is assembled on the inner side to irradiate the plane diffusion plate with light of an LED in an edge type. Accordingly, unlike a conventional way, an SMPS device is not fixed to the back side of a plane lighting, thereby enabling non-perforated installation when installed on a ceiling or a wall. |
