The present invention relates to a variable valve lift apparatus having a simple structure capable of preventing interference between components. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the variable valve lift apparatus allows a lift of a valve which is operated to perform intake and exhaust of an engine depending on a rotation of a camshaft to selectively be changed into a high lift and a low lift. The variable valve lift apparatus comprises: a lever body formed with a predetermined length to perform a lever operation depending on the rotation of the camshaft, having one end connected to a hydraulic supply part and an other end connected to the valve; a rotation shaft having a longitudinal direction in a widthwise direction of the lever body; a roller installed to be rotated about the rotation shaft; a high cam arranged on the camshaft to be rotated together with the camshaft, having a lobe-shape, and coming in rolling contact with the roller to achieve high lift; and a lower cam arranged on the camshaft to be rotated together with the camshaft having the lobe-shape, and coming in rolling contact with the roller to achieve low lift. The roller can be slid in a longitudinal direction of the rotation shaft, and the roller can selectively come in rolling contact with the high cam and the low cam depending on a sliding movement of the roller. |
