According to an embodiment of the present invention, the wave basin may comprise: a basin unit wherein water is accommodated; a wave unit installed in one side of the basin unit to generate waves; and a wave dissipating unit having a wave dissipating plate installed in the other side of the basin unit and arranged to be inclined in an internal side of the basin unit for one end portion thereof to be submerged in water and a drive unit rotating at least a portion of the wave dissipating plate for one end portion of the wave dissipating plate to be exposed over a water surface.
