The present invention relates to a safety sliding door using a photo sensor for a vehicle, and more specifically, to a safety sliding door using a photo sensor for a vehicle, detecting an object existing between the sliding door and chassis to effectively prevent an accident where the body of a passenger or a skirt is jammed between the sliding door and the chassis, thereby securing the safety of the passenger. The safety sliding door using a photo sensor comprises: the sliding door; the photo sensor; a reflective mirror; an alert signal generator; and an alert means. The sliding door is operated in a sliding manner along the chassis by an operation of a driving means to open and close an entrance. The photo sensor is installed on the interior surface of the sliding door and includes a light emitting part together with a light collecting part. The reflective mirror is installed on the inner surface of the chassis to be opposite to the photo sensor and reflects light emitted from the light emitting part to the light collecting part. The alert signal generator is electrically connected to the photo sensor and generates an alert signal notifying the driver and passengers of the existence of an object between the sliding door and the chassis depending on whether the light is reflected by the reflective mirror and collected into the light collecting part. The alert means receives the alert signal from the alert signal generator and transmits an alert sound depending on the alert signal or allows an alert light to emit light. |
