Disclosed is a device for detecting the thermal behavior of an engine insulation coating layer. The device includes a base frame, a holding part which is installed on the base frame and fixes a sample coated with the insulation coating layer, a heating part which is formed on one side of the base frame based on the sample and heats the sample, a cooling part which is formed on the other side of the base frame by corresponding to the heating part and cools the insulation coating layer, and a temperature measuring part which measures the surface temperature of the insulation coating layer.
