Disclosed is a composite including a porous PTFE membrane, wherein the porous PTFE membrane comprises an intermediate PTFE membrane having a pore rating from about 2 nanometers to about 20 nanometers, and the intermediate PTFE membrane is arranged between porous fluoropolymer membranes having larger pore ratings, and bound to the porous fluoropolymer membranes. And, provided are methods of manufacturing and using the composite. |
