Provided are an automatic power supply control method using a received signal strength indication, and a system thereof. The automatic power supply control method according to the embodiment of the present invention controls an automatic standby power blocking device to supply power to an electric home appliance if a wireless signal strength of the automatic standby power blocking device exceeds a specific value, and the power is not supplied to the electric home appliance connected to the automatic standby power blocking device. Therefore, a user blocks the standby power and automatically supplies the power by using an exiting behavior method to use a remote controller for turning on the electric home appliance. Accordingly, the standby power of the electric home appliance is reduced without the change in the behavior method and the inconvenience of the user.
