Disclosed are an aeration impeller and an agitator for water treatment having the same wherein the aeration impeller is able to distribute and discharge air to a mixture within an agitation tank by means of a blade capable of agitating and rotating the mixture within the agitation tank. The aeration impeller and the agitator for water treatment having the same agitate a mixture by means of the blade while the impeller rotates, and distribute and discharge air to the mixture within the agitation tank, thereby generating a vortex and a turbulence to the mixture within the agitation tank, and significantly improving an overall agitation efficiency without creating a dead zone. In addition, the present invention applies an impeller having a relatively short blade compared with an impeller applied to a conventional agitation tank, yet is able to maintain a further higher agitation efficiency, thereby remarkably improving an overall agitation efficiency while consuming less power than agitation equipment in general which has been used so far. Accordingly, a water treatment efficiency can be remarkably improved, and also maintenance costs can be reduced. |
