PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle security system ensuring high practicability.SOLUTION: A sensor detecting identification information for identifying a feature of a vehicle passenger is provided in a vehicle, and it is determined whether an index value for the identification information detected by the sensor exceeds a preset threshold. If the index value for the identification information exceeds the threshold, a vehicle seat 20 moves to a position considerably different from a position of the vehicle seat during vehicle operation. It is thereby possible to determine whether the passenger is a suspicious intruder irrespectively of an impact or the like, and to prevent a vehicle theft by picking, a failure to lock out, or the like. Furthermore, since the vehicle seat does not move to the non-operation-time position as long as the passenger is a normal user, it is possible to prevent the unexpected movement of the seat at a time of the occurrence of an accident or the like. |
