PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an available heating body of heating bodies arranged in a main-scanning direction from being replaced simultaneously when a fixing apparatus is replaced, due to uneven frequency of use of the heating bodies.SOLUTION: A fixing heater includes a plurality of heating bodies arranged in a main-scanning direction, to control each of the heating bodies to be turned on/off. The heating bodies of the fixing heater can be independently replaced. The fixing heater includes: a frequency-of-use information holding section 241 holding frequency-of-use information of the heating bodies; a determination processing section 242 which determines whether to replace the heating bodies, on the basis of the frequency-of-use information; and means for externally transmitting a determination result when the determination processing means 242 determines to replace the heating bodies. |
