Disclosed is a vehicle air conditioner having a photocatalyst module, which can purify air flowing into an air conditioner case, sterilize and deodorize an evaporator, optimize an installation position of the photocatalyst module and allow for easy attachment and detachment of the photocatalyst module, and thus has advantages in maintenance. The vehicle air conditioner having a photocatalyst module comprises: an air conditioner case which has an air inlet formed at the inlet side thereof, an air outlet formed at the outlet side thereof, and an air flow path on the inside thereof; an evaporator which is installed on the air flow path of the air conditioner case; and a blower for blowing air into the air conditioner case, wherein the air conditioner case has a photocatalyst module at one side thereof, the photocatalyst module comprising: a catalyst unit which produces radicals by a photocatalytic reaction caused by irradiated light, the catalyst unit being arranged so that the produced radicals can be supplied to the air flow path within the air conditioner case; and at least one light source unit for irradiating ultraviolet (UV) light toward the catalyst unit. |
