The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a cushioning member, and more particularly, to a method for manufacturing a cushioning member wherein a web stack, formed with short fibers stacked in a horizontal state, is fiber-opened inside an organization converter, so the stack form is changed to a random form; the thickness and density thereof are formed uniformly; and elasticity, a sound absorbing power and a tensile force are enhanced. The method for manufacturing a cushioning member of the present invention comprises the steps of: a fiber-opening step of fiber-opening in order to untangle well a mass of tangled short fibers; a web discharge step of discharging the fiber-opened fiber to a web formed to have the uniform thickness and width; a web stack step of stacking the discharged web and thereby forming a web stack; an organization change step of allowing the stack form of short fibers to be stacked randomly and to have a uniform density by using an organization converter capable of changing the stacked web stack; a heat-press step of heating and pressing the web stack having a changed stack form through the organization change step; and a cooling step of cooling the heated and pressed web stack. |
