The present invention relates to a handle cap for a freshwater fishing rod, which is coupled to a handle of the fishing rod to prevent a joint having a predetermined length from being released and separated from a handle part when the fishing rod is folded and preserved, and which can prevent an outer layer of the fishing rod from being inflated and peeled as the structure of the handle is improved to smoothly ventilate as well as drain the fishing rod. To this end, the handle cap for the freshwater fishing rod, screw-coupled to the handle part of the fishing rod, includes: the cap (20) which has a male screw part (20a) and is divided into a first cap (21) and a second cap (22); and penetrated holes (23) mutually consistent at the center of the first and second caps (21, 22) to fixedly adhere a protruding rod (26) having a loop (25) to the penetrated holes (23); and a plurality of vertical drainage holes (28, 29), vertically penetrated in the first and second caps (21, 22). |
