PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support the design of a multilayer substrate capable of suppressing an electromagnetic field noise generated in the multilayer substrate in which a plurality of layers are laminated in one aspect.SOLUTION: Design information 12 of a multilayer substrate is input to a substrate design support device 10, and an extraction part 20 extracts a plurality of ground patterns in the multilayer substrate in a predetermined distance from the route of a signal running through the multilayer substrate in which a plurality of layers are laminated on the basis of the input design information 12 of the multilayer substrate. A derivation part 22 derives an area in which the plurality of ground patterns are electrically isolated as a discontinuous area. A display part 18 displays the discontinuous area derived by the derivation part 22.
