PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device, image projection apparatus, and electronic equipment that can display high-quality videos with simple configurations.SOLUTION: An optical device 1 includes a light guide plate 21, diffraction part 31, wavelength selection part 41, and first reflection part 51. The diffraction part 31 includes: a first area 31a that diffracts light in a first wavelength band at a first angle; and a second area 31b that diffracts light in a second wavelength band at the first angle. The wavelength selection part 41 includes: a first wavelength selection area 41a that overlaps with the first area 31a, transmits light in the first wavelength band, and reflects light in different bands; and a second wavelength selection area 41b that overlaps with the second area 31b, transmits light in the second wavelength band, and reflects light in different bands. The first reflection part 51 is provided at a position to diffract the light reflected in the first wavelength selection area 41a in a first area 31a relative to a first surface 21a at the first angle, and to diffract the light reflected in the second wavelength selection area 41b in a second area 31b relative to the first surface 21a at the first angle. |
