PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly accurate specimen detection device and a specimen detection chip.SOLUTION: There is provided a specimen detection device including a light source part, a filter part, a sensor part, and a control part. The light source part executes a first operation for making first light having a first peak wavelength incident on a specimen and a second operation for making second light having a second peak wavelength different from the first peak wavelength incident on the specimen. The filter part attenuates the first light and the second light and passes at least a part of third light emitted from the specimen irradiated with the first light and at least a part of fourth light emitted from the specimen irradiated with the second light. The sensor part outputs a first signal corresponding to at least a part of the third light after passing through the filter part and outputs a second signal corresponding to at least a part of the fourth light after passing through the filter part. The control part acquires the first signal and the second signal and calculates a resulting value obtained by processing the first signal and the second signal. |
