The video playing apparatus comprises a storage unit (101), a receiving unit (102), a comparison and matching unit (103), a control unit (104), and a display unit (105). The storage unit (101) is used for storing personal information of viewers and corresponding watching information, the personal information comprising identity recognition information. The receiving unit (102) is used for receiving identity recognition information of a current viewer. The comparison and matching unit (103) is used for finding matching personal information in the storage unit according to the identity recognition information of the current viewer. The control unit (104) is used for finding the corresponding watching information stored in the storage unit according to the matching personal information, and controlling video playing. The display unit (105) is used for displaying video information. Therefore, identity recognition can be performed on a current viewer, corresponding watching information can be acquired according to personal information of the viewer so as to perform video playing control, the practicability is high, and high application and promotion value is provided. |
