The present invention relates to a hydroelectric power generation system that can perform hydroelectric power generation using a vortex of water and, more specifically, to a hydroelectric power generation system using a vortex, comprising: a mixture tank that stores water mixed with an additive for increasing the density of water; and a downcomer pipe that is connected, at one end thereof, to the mixture tank to allow the water to flow down and that has spiral vortex-inducing bodies formed on the inner surface along the path thereof for inducing a vortex of the water, wherein a blade that is rotated according to the vortex of the water so as to generate electric power is provided in the interior of the downcomer pipe, and a downcomer booster pump is provided in the interior of the one end of the downcomer pipe which is connected to the mixture tank. The present invention further comprises a controller connected to a generated-power storage site in which the power generated by the blade is stored, and the controller can measure the amount of generated power which is stored in the generated-power storage site and can control the vortex effect of the water according to the amount of the measured power so as to adjust the degree of power generation. |
