The invention relates to straight-flow valves which can be used in piston compressors having general and specific purposes in order to connect and disconnect the operating cavity of a cylinder to/from suction and pressurization cavities, and also as a check valve in mechanical engineering, in the extraction and pumping of oil and gas, in housing and public utilities, etc. A straight-flow valve contains, in the form of a disc, a housing and a seat; integrated through-holes are formed in the housing and seat, and plugging elements are provided in the holes of the housing and are formed integrally with the housing; wherein the housing is made of an elastic heat-resistant material and is provided with a metal frame; according to the invention, the through-holes are rectangular in shape and are positioned symmetrically relative to the center, with an area which decreases with distance from the center; each plugging element is in the form of a flat cantilever plate of an identical length, normally covering its hole in the seat. The invention allows for significantly increasing the throughput cross-section of a valve, for improving the leak resistance characteristics thereof and for simplifying the manufacture thereof. |
