A honeycomb brain signal collection helmet using functional near-infrared spectroscopy, which can be used in researches in the fields of brain science, cognitive science and brain-machine interfaces and other fields. The helmet comprises a flexible material covering a scalp and probe through-holes embedded in the flexible material. The flexible material consists of basic measurement units in the forms comprising regular hexagons, half-regular hexagons and one third-regular hexagons. A through-hole is formed at each vertex and the middle of each regular hexagon of each basic measurement unit. A light source probe and a detector probe are fixed in the through-hole, and positions of two kinds of through-holes can be exchanged. The constitution using the basic units can be flexibly extended. In addition, light source and detector jacks are designed in the helmet, thereby achieving a probe utilization rate higher than that in crystal lattice arrangement. The helmet provides an optimized cost-effective choice for researchers according to research demands on brain science, cognitive science and brain-machine interfaces. |
