The present invention relates to an image capturing apparatus utilizable for an invisible environment. The image capturing apparatus comprises: an image capturing unit comprising a camera which has a light source irradiating illumination light to an object for capturing an image, and an image sensor for obtaining an image corresponding to the object embedded therein; and a control unit for controlling the exposure of the image sensor of the camera based on the length of the illumination light width of the light source. Accordingly, the camera obtains the image corresponding to the object in the invisible environment by being controlled by the control unit.
