The present invention relates to a water treatment apparatus using zero-valent iron and a water treatment method, and more specifically, to a water treatment apparatus and a water treatment method with excellent efficiency of water treatment, preventing loss of zero-valent iron by attaching the zero-valent iron which can remove various pollutants containing nitrate nitrogen on a magnet, and fixing in treatment target water. The water treatment apparatus using the zero-valent iron of the present invention comprises: a housing formed with a space inside for introducing treatment target water; and a zero-valent iron fixing unit installed inside the housing for being in contact with the treatment target water introduced to the inside of the housing, and having magnetic force to be attached to the zero-valent iron on the surface.
