PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coloring composition for color filters that is excellent in heat resistance, brightness, contrast ratio, and a color filter.SOLUTION: This invention provides a coloring composition for color filters comprising at least colorant, binder resin, and organic solvent, wherein the colorant is a salt-forming compound of imide acid anion and cationic dye, represented by general formula (1). There is also provided a color filter made by using the coloring composition for color filters. |
