PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor which enables a proper seal member to be selected according to the purpose.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of an electric motor, which includes: a housing part attached to an axial end part; a rotor including a rotary shaft extending along an axial direction; and an annular seal member provided between the housing part and the rotor, is provided. According to the invention, the manufacturing method of the electric motor includes: selecting at least one of different kinds of seal members for different purposes; and customizing the selected seal member according to shapes of the housing part and the rotary shaft. |
