PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact combustion type gas sensor in which a detection element and a compensation element can be easily attached.SOLUTION: A contact combustion type gas sensor X, in which a compensation element 20 and a detection element 10 that is induced with a flammable gas are connected with each other in parallel, is provided with a substrate 30 on which the detection element 10 and the compensation element 20 are arranged, and a cap part 40 in which a detection element housing part 41a for housing the detection element 10 and a compensation element housing part 42a for housing the compensation element 20, the cap part 40 comprising a detection element side opening 41b which guides the flammable gas to the detection element housing part 41a and a compensation element side opening 42b which guides the flammable gas to the compensation element housing part 42a. |
