PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling compound roll excellent in wear resistance, surface roughening resistance and crack resistance.SOLUTION: A rolling compound roll of the present invention is the one having an outer layer, and the outer layer has a metallographic structure on a peripheral surface serving in the rolling whose area ratio of cementite is 40%-60% and area ratio of graphite is 0.5%-2.0%. Also, the outer layer contains, in terms of mass%, 3.0%-4.5% of C, over 0% and 2.0% or less of Si, over 0% and 1.5% or less of Mn, 3.0%-5.0% of Ni, 1.4%-4.0% of Cr, 0.1%-3.0% of Mo, over 0% and 3.0% or less of V, and Fe and inevitable impurities as a remainder, provided that 4.0%≤C+Si/3+Cr/7.5≤5.5%. |
