PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable photographed image data before user authentication to be saved to a detachable memory card in a camera having a user authentication function.SOLUTION: A development processing unit 34 develops a photographed image. In photographing after user authentication, a CPU 28 records data of the photographed image which has been developed by the development processing unit 34, to a memory card 40A or 40B via a card input/output unit 36. In photographing before the user authentication, the CPU 28 encrypts the data of the photographed image which has been developed by the development processing unit 34; and records the encrypted image data and key information for decrypting it, to the memory card 40A or 40B via the card input/output unit 36. After the user authentication, the CPU 28 searches for image data before the user authentication and decrypts it. |
