PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Zr-based amorphous alloy having a wide overcooling temperature range &Dgr;Tx and a high conversion vitrification temperature Tg/Tm.SOLUTION: There is provided a Zr-based amorphous alloy having a composition formula (ZrCuNiAl)A-B, where relationships of 0.50≤a≤0.64, 0.17≤b≤0.3, 0.03≤c≤0.15, 0.05≤d≤0.14, a+b+c+d=1.0 are satisfied and 0.31≤b+c≤0.40 and 0.03≤c<b≤0.30, A is one of Co, Be, Fe, and Zn, 0.2≤x≤4.0 when A is Co, Be or Zn, 0.2≤x≤2.0 when A is Fe, B is one of Sn, Ge, Ga and Si, 0.5≤y≤2.0 when B is Sn, Ga or Si and 0.5≤y≤1.0 when B is Ge. |
