PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dryer that has both of high heat efficiency and heating temperature controllability without adversely affecting the quality of a web-like substrate and coating film.SOLUTION: A dryer, which dries a coating while transporting a web-like substrate to which the coating containing solvent is applied, includes a plurality of guide rolls for base material holding, and an infrared irradiation device for irradiating each guide roll with infrared ray. In the dryer, the guide roll irradiated with infrared ray heats the anti-coating surface of the base material. |
