The present invention relates to a method for reducing traffic in networks of various structures and, particularly to, a method for reducing traffic in an Ethernet network using an HSR standard of connected ring topology, comprising: a first learning step for locking, by a quad box node, a side port connected by a DANH ring which does not include a destination node of a frame to be transmitted, on a connected ring topology network, with respect to the frame; and an execution step by which a copy of the frame is transmitted to the destination node, along a path which passes through an unlocked port. According to the present invention, the performance of the network can be improved by reducing the generation of traffic inside the HSR network of the connected ring topology. |
