Embodiments of the present invention provide a cell handover method, a user equipment, and a base station. The cell handover method of the present invention comprises: receiving reference signal resources sent by a base station of at least one target cell, the reference signal resources comprising reference signal resources corresponding to the at least one target cell, each target cell being corresponding to at least two sets of reference signal resources, and each set of reference signal resources being corresponding to one piece of precoding information; measuring channel quality of the at least one target cell according to the reference signal resources, and obtaining a measurement result and identifiers of the reference signal resources corresponding to the measurement result; and sending the measurement result and the identifiers of the reference signal resources corresponding to the measurement result to a base station of a serving cell. Embodiments of the present invention can ensure that the UE is in the coverage of a common channel after handover. |
