摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel electrode, along with its manufacturing method, capable of exhibiting a high power generation performance even if an ammonia fuel is used, with power generation performance being stably maintained.SOLUTION: A fuel electrode for operating a solid oxide type fuel battery includes transition metal which is selected from a group consisting of molybdenum, tungsten, and tantalum, nickel, and ionic conductor. The fuel electrode is manufactured by mixing powder of the ion conductor with powder of nickel oxide, and baking to obtain a fuel electrode intermediate substance, and then, making a solution containing the transition metal impregnated with the fuel electrode intermediate substance.
