PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately calculate a waiting time until transmitting a processing request when a fault has occurred.SOLUTION: A waiting time calculation device 1 is a device that calculates a waiting time until a user node 22 transmits a processing request when a fault occurs in a processing node 2 including the user node 22, which is a transmission source of the processing request, and a plurality of processing nodes 20 that perform processing on the basis of the processing request received from the user node 22 via a communication path 23. The waiting time calculation device 1 comprises: a system information acquisition unit 10 that acquires system information including a processing impossible user number, which is the number of user nodes which a single processing node 20 cannot process per unit time when loads on the processing nodes 20 occur due to the occurrence of the fault in the processing system 2; a waiting time calculation unit 14 that calculates a waiting time on the basis of the processing impossible number included in the acquired system information; and a waiting time transmission unit 15 that transmits the calculated waiting time to the user node. |
