Hand truck (1) with an adjustable wheel axle (3) suitable for manual transport of heavy objects, comprising: • - an elongate and substantially planar main frame (4), • - a load plate (6) fixedly connected to the front side of the main frame (4) and at the lower end, • - an axle suspension comprising a rigid body (8) which is fixedly connected to the rear side of the main frame (4) and close to the lower end; • - a wheel axle (3), both ends of which are provided with a wheel (10) and which is disposed rotatably inside the axle suspension, wherein the axle suspension comprises a guide for guiding the wheel axle (3) over a path between a low and a high stop. |
