PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of a fuel cell from occurring at the time of start-up.SOLUTION: A controller 32 executes: a first process of determining whether or not hydrogen exists in an anode gas passage 44; a second process of making a contactor 30 be in a connection state when it is determined, in the first process, that hydrogen exists in the anode gas passage 44; a third process of driving a circulation pump 22; a fourth process of opening a purge valve 23 while starting supply of an anode gas; a fifth process of closing the purge valve 23; a sixth process of supplying a cathode gas to a cathode; and a seventh process of starting power generation of a fuel cell stack 11 before generating power while keeping its voltage being equal to or lower than predetermined voltage in the case that it is determined, in the first process, that hydrogen exists and the voltage of the fuel cell stack 11 has reached the predetermined voltage, or not starting power generation of the fuel cell stack 11 in the case that it is determined, in the first process, that hydrogen does not exist. |
