PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collector which improves conductivity and is capable of securing required corrosion resistance and uniformly supplying gas to an electrode layer.SOLUTION: The collector is used for a fuel cell including: a membrane electrode assembly including a solid polymer electrolyte layer and a pair of electrode layers formed to hold the solid polymer electrolyte layer therebetween; the collector laminated on the electrode layers; and a gas channel for supplying gas to the electrode layers. The collector includes a metal porous body that is laminated on the electrode layer, supplies flowing gas to the electrode layer and is conducted with the electrode layer. The metal porous body includes at least a conductive layer containing conductive particles fixed to a corrosion resistant and water-repellent resin, at the side of the electrode layers.
