PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element capable of efficiently dividing light into two directions with a simple structure, and successfully illuminating a predetermined location, and to provide an electronic apparatus using the same.SOLUTION: An optical elements 12 and 16 comprise: a columnar member 24 that receives light from an incident surface 24a located on one end side along a central axis and emits the received light from an emission surface 24b located on the other end side along the central axis; and a space part 25 that is provided in the columnar member 24 and forms a reflection surface 26 for reflecting a part of the light entering from the incident surface 24a to a direction approximately perpendicular to the central axis. Therefore, the optical elements can efficiently divide light into two directions and successfully illuminate predetermined two locations, with a simple structure only by forming the space part 25 to form the reflection surface 26 in the columnar member 24. |
